What If?

What if we decided that motherhood was the best thing to ever happen?  Would we treasure each moment like it was the last?

Would we be more willing to sacrifice the things of this world—whether it was a bigger house, newer car or expensive clothing—to spend more time with our children?

Would we give up “our” time to get down on the floor and play with our kids?

And would we decide that no matter what stage our children are in, we are going to give them the best we have?  Even when it means sleepless nights, the judgmental looks of others, criticism or not going by the status quo.

What if motherhood had a higher value placed upon it than anything else?  What impact would that have on our children and families?

What if we could stop questioning our decisions?  What if we could feel confident about giving all we have and whatever we don’t, trusting God to fill in the gaps?

What is your “What if”?
